(Folk-rock) 49 Winchester began as an acoustic trio from the small town of Castlewood, Virginia, in the fall of 2013. They quickly made a name for themselves and gained a following throughout the region with their unique blend of melodic folk songs. With an added rhythm section, the five-piece band attracted attention from Gold Ship Records and released their debut, self-titled album in April 2014.
