About
Amber Valentine is a girl. She stands about yay high and has blonde hair. Sometimes, she rambles on and on for hours about how she “feels”. The secret to getting her to shut up is placing her in front of a Roland Juno G.
Amber makes up half of a band called Amber Valentine’s Shriveled Heart & The Skeletons Left Behind. The other half is a gentleman called Zak Freed. He composes, producers, mixes, and does much, much more under the name of Zunk.
Together, they make up a band, though they have never met in real life. AV tends to write the lyrics and sing the melodies. Zunk makes the magic happen through sick synths, searing guitars, wicked mandolin, and a multitude of other instruments that usually leave AV thinking “Where did that come from?!” in the best way possible.
They don’t only share a Midwestern gypsy existences. They also share “band interests” including stiff drinks, creepy music, ambient noises, as well as subscribing to the life motto “Why pay some sucker to rob you blind when you can do something yourself and you can probably do it better anyhow?”
Currently, AV’s :’( <3 has just released their debut single, “Razor’s Edge”, for free on bandcamp - http://ambervalentine.bandcamp.com/album/razors-edge - in the meantime, Zunk will be finishing work on the band's debut EP, Glass Slipper.
