Unfurling the Canadian flag and hoisting it high for this year’s Heavy MTL is metal’s favorite underdogs Anvil. Actually scratch that, rather “former underdogs” since the immense success of their documentary, erm rockumentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil took the world by storm. These T Dot metal survivors are indeed back on the map with their passion and perseverance only further galvanized. Truthfully, we here at Heavy MTL could care less though about the miles of red carpets their Chuck Taylors just graced. The real reason Heavy MTL is pleased as punch to have these legends on our stage is quite simple - they rock hard, like your head banged by an Anvil!
