Beatrice Laus began releasing bedroom-recorded songs online in 2017 and signed to Dirty Hit in April 2018. Her debut studio album, Fake It Flowers, was released in October 2020 to critical acclaim; she won the NME Radar Award and was shortlisted for the 2020 BRITs Rising Star.
