Ron G is a mixtape DJ and producer widely credited with inventing the R&B/hip-hop “blend” mixtape format in the early 1990s. He earned an early mixshow slot on WBLS and is cited in Jay?Z’s book Decoded for the influence of his Dead Presidents mixtape. He remains active releasing mixtapes and hosting online radio/mix shows.
