Fredrick Jamel Tipton, known professionally as Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper who began releasing music in the mid-2000s and founded the ESGN label. He has released acclaimed collaborative albums with Madlib (Piñata, Bandana) and with The Alchemist (Alfredo), the latter earning a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
