Formed on Chicago’s South Side (Little Village), Iron Years are a contemporary post?punk outfit whose lineup has included Rafael Andrade, Benny Hernandez, Leah Max Healy, and Julian Cabrera. Their debut LP Reverie was recorded with producer Sanford Parker and released in late 2022; singles and videos such as “Lucid” and “Control” followed, and the band has issued limited physical releases (including a lathe?cut 7").
