“Jai Ho” is a song composed by A. R. Rahman with lyrics by Gulzar for the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire, performed on the soundtrack by Sukhwinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalakshmi Iyer and Vijay Prakash. It won the 2009 Academy Award for Best Original Song and was later remixed into the English-language single “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)” performed by the Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.
