Kingfishr is an Irish indie folk band formed in 2022 in Limerick by Eddie Keogh, Eoghan McGrath, and Eoin Fitzgibbon. Blending folk, rock, and electronica, their music features emotive storytelling and atmospheric arrangements rooted in Celtic influences.
The band quickly gained attention with their single "Killeagh," which topped the Irish charts and earned multiple platinum certifications. They have supported major artists like Dermot Kennedy and Bruce Springsteen and performed at prominent festivals such as BST Hyde Park and Electric Picnic.
Known for their powerful live shows and independent approach to music production, Kingfishr continues to build a strong fanbase across Ireland and the UK. Their debut album, Halcyon, is set for release in August 2025.
