Laura Doherty & The Heartbeats are the performing ensemble led by singer-songwriter Laura Doherty, who spent over a decade directing the Old Town School of Folk Music's Wiggleworms early-childhood program before moving into full-time family music. She has released multiple Parents' Choice–award-winning children's albums, toured nationally to festivals and venues (including Ravinia, Lollapalooza, Pilgrimage, SXSW and Club Passim), and frequently performs with a rotating band called The Heartbeats.
