I’ve been playing music since I could walk. For a long time, we had the drums set up in the living room at home so my bands could practice.
I graduated from art school in 2007, where I studied vocal music. If you need a song done in uptempo German, I’m your man. Anyway, that’s where I started loving jazz standards, which I still perform on occasion. In middle and high school I also worked with Michael and Matthew Huber and Kyle Krakow on Odd Man Out. We had a lot of fun playing as fast and as loud as we could…and we did pretty well for a high school band, ending up on national TV twice and in big publications like the Village Voice.
I started at Flagler college in St. Augustine–an awesome place to skim and hang out at the beach–in 2007. All the while, I still kept working on music.
Now, I’ve taken off from school to move to NYC to pursue music full time. Wish me lots of luck…hopefully I’ll go big before I go broke. Luckily, I have Jordan Meredith to back me up on guitar and vocals. We formed a duo recently and she’s awesome. check us out www.Augustine-Music.com.
