Garage punk two-piece Teen Mortgage climbed out of Washington DC's primordial hardcore soup in 2017. The DC duo bulldozed their way to an international following with a grass-roots online rise via notable singles "S.W.A.S", "Tuning In", "Doctor" while surprising live crowds by generating a loud, intense and heavy sound with only two people at the helm.
Having just completed US tours this year supporting the likes of Alkaline Trio, Red Fang, The Dirty Nil and LS Dunes, Teen Mortgage are setting off to invade the UK, where they'll be supporting hardcore punk supergroup, OFF!, along with their own headline dates. Kicking off the occasion, Teen Mortgage are dropping their new fuzz bomb single, "Away," described by vocalist and guitarist, James Guile, as "my daily thoughts of apathy and resentment on contributing to a society that willfully and ignorantly warms the globe and destroys the planet in the name of profit for the select few." This track will join the band's full King Pizza Records discography on their vinyl debut, self-titled LP available for pre-order now through the band's Shopify store.
