About
THE FILTHY HEATHENS
The Filthy Heathens came together during the chaos of the pandemic, driven by a shared instinct to play loud, honest music with no safety net. What began with the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer, Ryan Palcic, and “Captain” Craig Bishop took shape fast when guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp joined the fold. Five members. No brakes. Blending Southern grit with alt-edge, classic country with hard rock, their sound defies easy classification. It’s rich, raw, and rooted in something deeper than genre. You can’t quite label it — and that’s the point. Inspired by legends like Skynyrd and Waylon, with a nod to modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and The Steel Woods, their songs are road-tested, unapologetic, and built to be felt. Known for high-octane live shows and a fast-growing fanbase, The Filthy Heathens have been hitting stages across the country with relentless momentum. One gig at a time, they’re building something real — and it’s catching on. Live, the band goes full throttle, pulling crowds straight into the moment. Their debut EP Etheridge dropped in May 2025, led by the singles “Tupelo Sun” and “Devils Like Me.” In February 2026, the band will release The Muscle Shoals Session, a raw, live-recorded EP captured at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. No frills. No filters. Just who they are on stage. The fuse is lit. The momentum keeps building. The Filthy Heathens return to the studio in April 2026 — louder, tighter, and more dialed-in than ever.
SHANNON BAKER AND THE BURNERS
Shannon Baker and her catalogue of melodic original songs have been a mainstay in musical venues all over Chicago. The Burners (Dan Kane, Michael Fitz, Bobby Puetz, and Pat Corbett) added sonic layers to a rich collection of songs that leave an echo of nostalgia for the classics of while remaining consistently fresh throughout.
