Senior Dance Concert: ENTANGLEMENT

Fri, Jun 5 | 7 pmWirtz Center for the Performing Arts

About

Senior Dance Concert 2026: Entanglement is a collective of live performance and dancefilms that treats connection as something we move through, not just something we feel. Here, screens don’t replace people; they become another kind of stage— for exploring how we interpret one another and seeing beyond linear space and time.

We see relationships formed through staged moments: eye contact across a lens, distance collapsed by rhythm, misunderstandings corrected by shared motion. Lines stretch between dancers like messages in transit; then, as the performance builds, those lines soften into contact—hands finding hands, weight trusting weight, proximity earned rather than assumed.

Ultimately, Senior Dance Concert 2026: Entanglement is a meditation on the threads that tie us to our identities, community, and goals. It asks how we build our webs of connection— how love becomes posture, how community becomes timing, how our online selves and offline selves braid into one living body. The performance physicalizes connection: not as an answer, but as an ongoing act of weaving—together, one step at a time

Choreographed and produced by the Senior Dance Majors, the Spring Senior Dance Concert is a culmination of the seniors’ dance and choreographic education at Northwestern.
