A native of Los Angeles, Violet Grohl has been immersed in music from her earliest days. Whether singing along to Beatles records alone in her bedroom, writing her first song at age 12, or performing on stages both large and small, Violet has always been focused on expanding her musical palette and vocabulary.
A true student of the art form, her notebooks are filled with poetry and genre-bending influences. In 2024, Violet met producer Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Kim Gordon), beginning an unexpected—and unexpectedly prolific—creative partnership. Together, they collaborated on the music featured on her debut album, Be Sweet To Me, released worldwide on May 29.
